Sandpiper Garden Help Needed!
Monday, January 15th
December 25th- January 5th
We all love our school garden and the kids can't wait to get back in there growing and eating their vegetables. The garden and your kids need you to make it happen!
Recess Garden Volunteers - Ongoing
Your Garden Team needs your help in bringing the opportunity to work in the garden during recess to all 630 students this year. The more parents we have the more often our kids can grow and eat their veggies. We are starting with Mondays. If we get enough volunteers for that day, we can add Thursdays. We need the most help from 10:45am-11:45am, but welcome help between 10:45am and 1:00pm. Click here to sign up to volunteer.

Sandpiper's "Giving Tree" Returns to Help Those in Need
Have your kids dust off their sneakers, because Trekkers will return on Friday, January 12th! Once a week, students will have the opportunity to run laps around the field at our school during their lunch recess. They will earn key chains for laps completed! It's a great way for students to stay in shape and have fun! More information is coming soon about how to volunteer for this great program.

We Want YOU... to Volunteer!
Help make the Holidays a little brighter for those in need! Sandpiper's Student Council has put together "The Giving Tree" program to assist local families in need during the holiday season. We are collecting gifts for ten Sandpiper families and ten PVUSD community families in needs this holiday season.
If you'd like to help, the “Giving Tree” is located in the Sandpiper Library. Gift requests are hung on the tree. All gifts must be returned to school, unwrapped, no later than Friday, December 8th.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for instilling the life-long learning opportunity of helping those less fortunate or in need during the Holiday season!
